TAG Industries commissioned Keyhole Creative to create the brand identity for the Peterborough based company, which resulted in the impactful bold logo, emblazoned with green to symbolise the recycling aspect of their business. The success of this project led to a brief to create logos for the company’s BTCC TAG Racing team and TAG Autosports. The objective was to create two brands that have synergy to the TAG Industries brand in addition to individuality was achieved. Both logos made impact in the Dunlop MSA Touring Car Championship 2017 as the most impactful logo seen on the circuits throughout the season. Worldwide notoriety followed due to ITV coverage being shared with CBS sports network, Speed, ESPN and Fox.
Keyhole Creative secured the contract to create a ‘Fly on the wall’ series of ten 20-30 minute documentaries charting the launch of TAG Racing in to the 2017 Dunlop MSA Touring Car Championship. The Keyhole Creative film crew had ‘access all areas’ into the paddock, garages, trucks and all personnel from the tea lady through to the drivers and team principle. Working in conjunction with ITV, the films showed behind the scenes planning and preparation in combination with all of the ups and downs experienced on and off the track during every race in the BTCC calendar. The result – ‘Edge of your seat’ films that catapulted TAG Racing from obscurity into unprecedented notoriety in conjunction with a campaign on TAG Racing Social Media.
